Today I asked Mr. Bursch what the size of the wood should be. He said it should be about an inch thick and about 4 by 4 to 3 by 3 feet in area.

I purchased the wood at Lowes's. It was 3 by 3 feet with a quarter inch of thickness.

03-14-17

Today I started out the painting by lightly sketching on the wood with a pencil

I finished the sketch and now I'm ready to paint

I am now finished with painting. It looks great!
